1.IT Sector:
Being an electronics graduate, there is more probability to explore coding (c, c++, java, python, etc.) fields. In today’s scenario artificial intelligence, deep learning, and machine learning is the most area where IT industry is moving and having a bright future.
AI will allow you to get more than the average package in placements. Most importantly there are many open-source software and resources are there to explore the field.  2.Government Sector:
This is the major area where every student wants to get or maybe dream sector where a student wants to see himself but there is a big problem that in recent times a number of jobs are reducing every day. For Electronics graduates there are a number of PSUs that are recruiting students after graduation and some of them are-Â ISRO, BARC, BEL, BHEL, NIELIT, CIL, State govt. PSUs, NPCIL, PGCIL, Indian railways JE & SSE, etc.
Other than PSUs electronics students can go for ESE (Engineering service examination) highest rank job for electronics students and IRMS (Indian railways managerial services) to get a class-A job. State engineering services examinations are also there which are conducted by state authorities.

3. GATE or Higher Studies:
There are splendid career options after B.Tech ECE. Now even during the final year of engineering, you can apply for the GATE examination and from your gate scorecard, you can go for either PSUs or higher studies (M.tech).
Particularly, Â if you choose to go for higher studies than you get any (IISC, IITs, NITs, IITs, NITTER, CDAC, etc.) of the reputed institute. If you go for M.tech through a gate scorecard you will get a total of 12,400/- Rs stipend per month for two years. After completing your masters you can go to reputed electronics industries like Intel, Qualcomm, Nvidia, Samsung, etc. at a very good package.

4.Research Field:
Some good institutes like IITs give some programs to directly enter into Ph.D. after B.Tech ECE. So, if you are interested in research then you can go for Ph.D. Most people go for Ph.D. after completing their master’s because after a bachelor’s very less opportunities are there for Ph.D. So, if you have a valid gate score card then you can receive 31,000 + HRA/- teaching assistantship during your 5 year Ph.D. course.
