1.Common Admission Test (CAT)

CAT is a computer-based MBA entrance test through which one can get admission in IIMs and top B- Schools. It is conducted by IIMs on a national level. It is conducted only once a year. It does not have any limited attempts of age limit kind of things so one can attempt for giving CAT entrance exams as many times as one wants to.CAT is one of the topmost exams for MBA entrance.

There are many top B- Schools such as SPIJMR, FMS, IMT, and many other colleges use to take admissions on the basis of CAT scorecard. But here one should keep in mind that CAT is not an easy exam as around twenty-five lakhs students use to register for the CAT exam every year.

3. Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)

XAT is a computer-based management aptitude test. It is conducted by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) Jamshedpur. It is taken by approximately one lakh students every year. It is usually held on the first Sunday of the month of January every year.

XAT scorecard is accepted by more than 100 MBA institutes. It is another most popular exam when it comes to taking admission in the B-Schools in India. It is considered to be more difficult than the CAT exam. XAT is among the best exams for  MBA entrance.

• Exam Name: Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)
• Eligibility Criteria: The candidate should have completed the three-year Graduation course from any recognized University.
• Exam Pattern: The total no. of questions in this are 75. It is divided into three sections:

4.Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP)

SNAP is a national-level management entrance examination. It is conducted by Symbiosis International University. SNAP scores are primarily used for admission to 16 institutes under Symbiosis International University. This exam takes place in the month of December and registration for this exam lasts until the month of November.

This is a computer-based test. The exam fees for this test are 1750 rupees. The question level in this exam is also moderate. There are 110 questions in this exam divided into three sections. Due to its scope, it is counted among the topmost exams for MBA Entrance.

• Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University in India with 50% aggregate marks for General Category and 45% for Reserved Category

5.NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT)

It has recently been acquired by GMAC and was rebranded as GMAC. Scores for this exam will be used for admission to Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Alliance University, SRM University, BML Munjal University, VIT University, IFCAI Business School (IBS), Ansal University are all renowned and very famous Universities when it comes to Universities for their MBA. Exam fees for this exam are 2500 (taxes are excluded).

The total no. of questions in this exam is 108 divided into three sections. NMAT is rated as one of the best exams for MBA entrance.

• Exam Name: NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT)
• Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from any recognized University
• Exam Pattern: The total no. of questions in this exam are 108 divided into three sections:
1. Language Skills
2. Quantitative Skills
3. Logical Reasoning
• Month of Exam: November to January

6.Management Aptitude Test (MAT):

MAT is also one of the most popular MBA entrance exams. More than 600 Institutes accept MAT scores for admission to management programs. It is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA), MAT is held four times a year in the month of February, May, September, and December.

The exam is held both online i.e. computer-based mode and offline i.e. writing mode. Eligibility Criteria for this exam is Graduation in any discipline from any recognized University a person who is in the final year of Graduation can also apply for this exam. 7.Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)

CMAT is a relatively new addition to the list of MBA exams. The first CMAT exam took place in 2012. However, it has fastly become one of the most popular exams in the country. The exam is accepted by more than 500 MBA institutes across the country.

It is considered as one of the best exams for MBA entrance and also propitious for those who are not so good in mathematics as it offers an additional optional section named Innovation and Entrepreneurship so that if a person will perform well in this section then the burden of scoring well in the mathematics section will release up to some level.

8.Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH-CET):

MAH-CET is a state-level management entrance exam. The exam is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. It is for admission to various management courses such as MMS, PGDMB, and PGDM in various institutes in the state of Maharashtra. MAH-CET is generally held in the month of March.

The scorecard of MAH-CET is accepted by more than 300 B- Schools including B-Schools such as JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, KJ Somaiya, NL Dalmiya, DSIMS, and many other renowned B-Schools of Maharashtra. A person who has completed his/her graduation from any recognized University or if the person is in the final year of Graduation then the person is applicable for this exam.

• Exam Name: Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH-CET)
• Eligibility Criteria: 50% or above in Graduation for General Category and 45% and above for Reserved Category
• Exam Pattern: The total no. of questions are 200 divided into four sections:

9.Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT):

IIFT entrance test is an Institute-specific entrance test. The exam is held for admission to the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and was held in offline mode i.e. pen and paper mode but looking at the present situation of a pandemic it is quite tough to predict that will it be held again offline mode or this time it will hold in online mode.

IIFT exam is conducted in the month of November and it generally has a time duration of two hours. It consists of 110 questions divided into four sections namely Quantitative Aptitude, VARC, LDRI, and General Knowledge. IIFT is one of the well-recognized exams for MBA entrance.
